 (Left) Willie Redden & Demetric Higdon Were Presented The Fire Chief's Exceptional Duty Commendation For There Act Of Bravery While Rescuing A Pilot & Co Pilot From A Downed Aircraft on April 13th 2007 (see below)

(Right) Former Firefighter Robert (Bob) Jones Is Credited With Saving A life At His Place Of Employment When A Delivery Person Collapsed And Went Into Cardiac Arrest Bob Administered CPR. The Delivery Person Made A Full Recovery

Southern Manatee & Cedar Hammock Start the shift out with a Structure Fire. The vacant house was fully involved upon arrival of the first units.

The football game between Southern Manatee vs. Cedar Hammock took place on January 07, 2007

This is the fourth game that we played.  The series is tied 2-2. This was a hard fought defensive game by both sides. Leaving the game tied 0-0 at half-time.   SMFR  scored the first touchdown in the beginning of the second half.  This was followed by a touchdown by CHFR   This left the game at tied at 6-6.  SMFR scored the go ahead touchdown and the game ended 12-6.  Good Luck next time CHFR.
